Long(er) silence
Sorry for the longer than normal silence. Although the paper I was writing is now in the hand of my collaborator, and the research seems to be hitting fewer snags I'm not sure posting will increase all that much.
It's not that there aren't things out there I find interesting and post-worthy, and I still hit the links on the right obsessively to see what's happening, I'm just in a slight rut where I don't find the energy to post.
For example, this is rather cool:
As is the following link (both via Beccarii) where you can hear a tasmanian devil. But I just kept sitting and sitting on them...which is rather odd for me.
It's not that I'm so content now that I don't get outraged (e.g., right wingnuttery, or the killing of Dr. Tiller or...), and I am both pleased with the Obama administration and disappointed. But well...a rather long ramble to say that perhaps I'll be taking a break from posting for awhile. The site will stay up, however, as I find those links on the right very helpful for hitting the highlights.
